REGULATORY COMPLIANCE OFFICER
ROLE PROFILE
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for assisting management in maintaining a culture of compliance across the business by ensuring that legislative and regulatory compliance requirements affecting conduct of business activities are implemented and adhered to.
• Assisting in the development of the legal and regulatory compliance risk management framework.
• Assisting in the development of compliance risk management and monitoring plans
• Regulatory compliance reporting.
• Developing Regulatory Compliance Training Program and conducting training.
• Developing and reviewing Compliance policies and procedure manuals. o Providing advice and awareness in relation to regulatory issues affecting the Bank.

• Processes and procedures writing experience.
• Strong analytical ability and understanding of laws and regulations.
• Proactive and reactive thinking.
• Communication and presentation skills both oral and written.
• Attention to detail and time management.
Qualifications and Experience
• A Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree.
• Diploma in Compliance and relevant professional certifications such as Certified Anti Money laundering Specialist or
Certified Compliance Professional or Certified Global Sanctions Specialist would be preferred.
• At least 2 years' compliance experience in the financial services sector preferably in relation to regulatory compliance.
• A clean class 4 Drivers License.
