Action for Youth Foundation Trust Deadline: 4 January 2025 Reports to: Senior Programs Officer Action for Youth Foundation Trust, a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that creates a safe and conducive environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe is seeking to engage a Regional Coordinator to oversee program implementation, provide mentorship, and support to Programs Coordinators and Assistants.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities: - Provide guidance, support, and supervision to 4 Programs Coordinators and 4 Programs Assistants - Review reports, provide feedback, and ensure timely submission - Mentor and coach Programs Coordinators to enhance their skills and performance - Facilitate training, workshops, and meetings to enhance program implementation - Collaborate with stakeholders, including local authorities, partners, and communities - Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field - Pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work or Development Studies is preferred - At least 2 years of experience in program management, coordination, or a related field - Experience working with youth, HIV, TB, or SRHR programs is an added advantage - Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills - Youths under 30 years are encouraged to apply for this position.
