The HALO Trust, the world’s largest and oldest international humanitarian mine action charity, is a global expert in recovery after war. Recognized for demining operations in Angola, the organization has garnered international attention, with Princess Diana famously highlighting the deadly impact of landmines over 25 years ago.
With over 2000 dedicated personnel working in Angola and Zimbabwe, HALO aims to replicate the success achieved in Mozambique, which was declared mine-impact free after 22 years of clearance in 2015. The organization now seeks support to clear remaining minefields in Angola and Zimbabwe.
