Our client in Harare is looking for a Rearing Site Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Manufacturing & Production industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: -Responsible for achieving set targets as per SOPs and clients’ specifications for designated parent rearing sites -Responsible for managing the Parent Rearing team on designated parent rearing sites -Responsible for meeting Parent Rearing targets as per SOPs & clients’ specifications for designated sites -Ensures that bio-security, QA SOPs & animal welfare standards are adhered to at all time by Parent Rearing team for designated sites -Responsible for all Parent Rearing assets, equipment & stocks in designated sites -Adheres to Quality Assurance SOPs at all time
Qualifications and Experience
-A minimum of 3 years of experience in Rearing -A relevant Animal Science Tertiary Educational qualification -Demonstrable Managerial experience -Sound knowledge of dynamics involved in growing chickens -Proven track record demonstrating individuals ability to maintain sound relationship with a diverse group of stakeholders as well as being able to implement effective management systems
