Our client in the Midlands Province is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control and Quality Assurance Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the manufacturing industry.
Job Profile
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the explosives and/or emulsifiers manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
The various duties include, but are not limited to:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to final product testing. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous quality enhancement. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Train and mentor quality control staff to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and regulatory bodies. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains at the forefront of quality management practices.
Qualifications and Experience
Person Profile
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control and quality assurance within the explosives and/or emulsifiers manufacturing industry,3 years of which should be at supervisory level. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
