The Department of Engineering Infrastructure and Estates at the University of Zimbabwe invites applications for the position of Projects Administrator/Office Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Projects Administrator is expected to possess the following attributes:
-Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage a demanding Engineering Projects Office. -Astute people management skills for both contract and permanent staff. -Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills. -Ability to liaise with site management teams, facilitating continuous productivity to meet set targets. -Assist in labor resourcing and ensure the welfare of workers across building construction sites in collaboration with the Human Resources Department. -Proficient in computer literacy.
Qualifications and Experience
-A Bachelor’s degree in Administration or equivalent. -At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the Construction Sector. -Membership of a recognized Professional Institution is required. -A Masters's degree in the relevant field is mandatory. -Certification in PMME is an added advantage.
