VACANT LECTURESHIP AND TECHNICAL POSITIONS IN THE FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCE - SEPTEMBER 2025
The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Applied Science: LECTURESHIP/SENIOR LECTURESHIP/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP (6 POSTS) Department of Computer Science POST A: PROGRAMMING AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT (2 POSTS)
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to teach the following: Programming, Advanced Database and Data Mining, Software Methodology, Research Methods at postgraduate level as well as teach similar courses at undergraduate level.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must be holders of Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or any other similar degree approved by the department and a Master of Science Degree in at least one of the following: Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Software Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or any other equivalent Masters degree approved by the department. Holders of PhD Degrees in any of the above disciplines will be given preference.
