Job Title: Procurement Clerk (Grade 4)
Employer: Gokwe Town Council
Location: Gokwe, Zimbabwe

Reporting To
Procurement Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

-Assist in preparation of the procurement plan and returns
-Maintain procurement records/files of all procurement activities
-Prepare, manage, and process purchase orders
-Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues and confirm delivery dates
-Create and maintain purchasing files
-Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
-Liaise with stores to ensure timely deliveries
-Source quotations for goods or services
-Any other duties reasonably assigned by the Procurement Officer

Qualifications and Experience

-Diploma or Degree in Purchasing & Supply, or equivalent from a reputable institution
-Minimum 1 year relevant experience
-Practical knowledge of the EDPS system is an added advantage
-Class Four (4) driver’s licence is an added advantage
-Age not more than 35 years
