Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Officer to join our dynamic
team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our
Microfinance services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving
strategic initiatives to enhance our service offerings.
Lead and manage Microfinance operations, including loan origination, disbursement, and recovery.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.
Responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties, i.e. ensuring that all regulatory requirements with regard to the filing and record-keeping of documents are adhered to
The candidate will be the reference point for all RBZ enquiries, explanations and queries.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Develop Marketing strategies and market entrant strategies
Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Mentor and train staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics or any related field
A master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microfinance or Financial Services with background in lending.
Strong understanding of microfinance products and services.
Demonstrated track record in business growth
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to analyse financial data and make informed decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
