Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage daily mining operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and resolve operational challenges, optimizing processes to meet production targets.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain operation procedures, documentation, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules and capital projects.
- Ensure operations adhere to environmental and regulatory standards.
- Train and support field teams to enhance performance and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations engineering, ideally within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Proficiency in operations management, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of mining operations, equipment, and production systems.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and performance monitoring systems.
- Experience in safety management and regulatory compliance within the mining industry is a plus.
- Professional engineering certification is an added advantage.
