Job Title: Online Digital Marketing, Sales & Tendering Officer
Location: Harare

Job Summary:
We're looking for a motivated Online Digital Marketing, Sales & Tendering Officer to join our team in Harare to drive sales growth through digital channels, manage online presence, and support tendering efforts for all construction/building materials, Solar, ICT and Pharmaceutical products and services. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and contributing to the company's growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:
•Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness
•Create and execute social media marketing campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
•Develop and send email newsletters and promotional campaigns to customers and prospects
•Run online ads (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) to target specific audiences
•Monitor and analyse digital marketing metrics (website traffic, engagement, conversions, etc.)
•Optimize website and online content to improve search visibility
•Manage and update company website and social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
•Develop and implement content marketing strategies to attract and engage target audience
•Collaborate with suppliers and partners to develop digital marketing content and campaigns

Sales:
•Drive sales growth through online channels (website, social media, email) and offline interactions
•Identify new sales opportunities and pursue leads
•Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and procurement officers
•Provide product knowledge and support to customers and prospects
•Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
•Meet and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement
•Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to track progress and opportunities
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research

Tendering and Bidding:
•Identify and pursue tender opportunities through online portals, government websites, and industry associations
•Develop and maintain a tender pipeline to track progress and outcomes
•Collaborate with suppliers and partners to develop tender submissions and bids
•Ensure compliance with tender requirements and regulations
•Develop and execute a tender strategy to optimize win rates and revenue
•Review and analyse tender documents, identifying risks and opportunities
•Prepare tender presentations and pitches to clients and stakeholders
•Negotiate and finalize contracts with successful tenders

Online Responsibilities:
•Manage and update company website and online platforms (e-commerce, social media, etc.)
•Develop and implement online sales strategies to drive revenue growth
•Monitor and analyse online sales performance and customer behaviour
•Develop and implement online customer engagement and retention strategies

Qualifications and Experience

Skills:
•Digital marketing (social media, email, online ads)
•Sales and tendering
•Communication and relationship-building
•Analytics and reporting
•Microsoft Office and basic analytics tools
•Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Requirements:
•Diploma or certificate in digital marketing, sales, or business
•Minimum O' Level education, degree in marketing, sales, or related field an advantage
•2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, sales, or tendering (Construction/building materials, Solar, ICT and Pharmaceutical products and services an advantage)
•Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
•Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
•Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.)
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
•Experience with tendering and bidding processes
•Valid driver's license (an advantage)
•Fluency in English, additional languages an advantage (e.g., Shona, Ndebele)
