Cairns Holdings, based in Harare, is currently seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the position of National Sales Manager in our Sales Department.
Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Executive, the successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
Sales Strategy:
-Create, execute, and monitor the overall sales strategy.
Channel Development:
-Develop channel strategies through thorough market analysis, identifying customer preferences, and setting clear objectives for the sales team.
Operations Management:
-Effectively manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
Team Leadership:
-Lead a nationwide sales team in achieving sales targets.
-Monitor and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements as needed.
Revenue and Volume Targets:
-Lead the attainment of both revenue and volume targets, guiding the sales team in seizing sales opportunities.
Customer Agreements:
-Negotiate and finalize agreements with large customers.
Sales Budgeting:
-Develop the sales budget by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and resource requirements, ensuring financial viability.
Team Inspiration:
-Inspire the sales team by fostering positive relationships and ensuring motivation to drive profitability.
-Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a senior Sales or Marketing role.
-Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent.
-Master's degree in business administration, business leadership, or equivalent is an added advantage.
Strong negotiation skills.
-Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in sales and marketing best practices.
