Reports to: The Regional SIE Officer
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to create a safe and conducive violent-free environment for Youths living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key & Vulnerable Populations in Zimbabwe.
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is looking for a MER Assistant who will be supporting the Regional SIE Officer in implementing Action for Youth Foundation Trust's projects activities providing SIE & Research Support at voluntary basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities:
- Leading the research programs with support from the SIE team
- Developing research manuals, methodologies and reports.
- Conducting effective research analysis.
- Activity and quarterly report writing and submission.
- Finance requests, program execution, and liquidation in accordance with the organization's finance procedures and timelines.
- Reporting within approved timelines.
- Conducting research & advocacy training for staff.
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
- At least a Degree in Anthropology, Population Studies, Geography or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- CPD Certificate in Data Analysis, Strategic Thinking, M&E or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Recent graduates are the most preferred.
