VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTS A local faith based Non-Governmental Organization involved in humanitarian, development and advocacy work seeks to fill the following vacant positions:
1.Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Student Intern X1 The Intern will support the organization’s M&E functions to ensure efficiency and effective tracking of progress and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Work closely with the M&E Officers in the design of the organizational MEAL Framework and Plans •Work closely with the MEAL team to ensure timely and systematic updating of key MEAL databases •Follow up with Program staff on data quality issues and update changes in relevant databases •Support the review and collating of MEAL reports, ensuring that information is accurate, detailed, and clear to meet the needs of management •Research on context and produce detailed context monitoring and tracking reports routinely and periodically •Provide support in the planning and conducting of key events at the Organisational level •Support the effective documentation of impact, lessons, and recommendations, gleaned from various learning activities, for improvement in the implementation of the organisation’s Strategy •Ensure that key evidence is well documented and safely stored, well packaged readily available upon request. •Support the planning and conducting of field monitoring visits.
Qualifications and Experience
•Pursuing a degree in related fields (Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, •Knowledge of M&E Systems and databases •Strong analytical skills •Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) •Excellent communication skills •Effective team player
