Job Vacancy: Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgist

Duties and Responsibilities
-Design, develop, and optimize mineral processing flowsheets. -Oversee metallurgical test work including flotation, leaching, gravity separation, and hydrometallurgical/pyrometallurgical processes. -Evaluate ore samples and perform metallurgical balances. -Collaborate with geologists, mining engineers, and plant operators to improve recovery and product quality. -Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. -Analyze production data and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Metallurgical Assaying, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or related field. -Minimum 3 years of experience in mineral processing and/or extractive metallurgy. -Hands-on experience with metallurgical testwork and process modeling software (e.g., METSIM, JKSimMet). -Strong analytical and problem-solving
