We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team in Hwange as a Mine Surveyor Graduate Trainee. As a key player in the local industry, we are looking for a motivated candidate to contribute to our mining operations.
Location: Hwange
Surveying and Assessment:
-Assist in conducting surveys, measurements, and geotechnical assessments to ensure accurate mapping of mining areas.
Data Collection:
-Collaborate with surveying teams to collect essential data for mine planning, design, and development projects.
Data Analysis:
-Utilize surveying equipment and software to analyze, interpret, and report survey data.
Monitoring and Management:
-Support surveyors in monitoring mine progress, volume calculations, and spatial data management.
Safety and Compliance:
-Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with mining regulations at all times.
Continuous Learning:
-Continuously develop knowledge of mine surveying principles and practices through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
Ad
-Recent graduate with a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mine Surveying, Mining Engineering, or any other related qualification.
-Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and instruments, including GPS, total station, and terrestrial laser scanning.
-Familiarity with CAD software usage (e.g., AutoCAD) and surveying software.
-Ability to work in demanding environments and adapt to changing priorities.
-Willingness to travel and relocate to various mining locations as needed.
