Looking for a metallurgist or someone with a similar qualification to suit in this position who will be responsible for testing and analyzing ores, optimizing mineral processing operations, monitoring metal recovery, and ensuring efficient production and product quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Conduct mineral and ore testing – Analyze ores to determine their mineral content, quality, and suitability for processing. 2.Develop and improve processing methods – Design and optimize processes such as crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and smelting to improve metal recovery. 3.Monitor processing operations – Ensure metallurgical plants operate efficiently and that recovery, grade, and product quality meet required standards. 4.Perform laboratory research and analysis – Conduct experiments and analyze samples to solve processing problems and improve metal extraction and production efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
At least a DIPLOMA and a DEGREE will be an added advantage At least one year of experience
