MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Design, install and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
-Supervise mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance.
-Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective solutions.
-Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.
-Review mechanical drawings, designs and technical specifications.
-Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
-Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, automation and production teams.
-Conduct inspections of machinery and mechanical systems.
-Assist with procurement and technical evaluation of mechanical equipment.
-Prepare engineering reports, maintenance records and technical documentation.
-Ensure mechanical activities comply with applicable engineering, quality and safety requirements.
-Support continuous improvement of machinery, production systems and plant efficiency.
