MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
-Design, install, inspect and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
-Supervise mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance activities.
-Conduct equipment inspections and diagnose mechanical faults.
-Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
-Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
-Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
-Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with electrical, automation and other technical teams.
-Assist with procurement and technical evaluation of mechanical equipment.
-Ensure mechanical works comply with engineering, quality and safety standards.
-Prepare technical reports, maintenance records and engineering documentation.
-Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and operational problems.
-Support continuous improvement of machinery and production systems.
