VACANCIES: MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Mining, Processing & Slag/Dump Recycling Huasheng is a mining and mineral processing company operating in Kwekwe, Gweru and Chiredzi, with operations involving the mining and processing of chrome, antimony and tungsten, as well as slag/dump recycling. The company is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following positions:
1. MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
-Design, install, commission and maintain mechanical equipment used in mining and mineral processing operations.
-Maintain crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, mills and other processing equipment.
-Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
-Diagnose mechanical faults and conduct root-cause failure analysis.
Support the operation and optimisation of chrome, antimony and tungsten processing plants.
-Provide technical support for slag and mining-dump recycling equipment.
Ensure equipment reliability, safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
-Relevant experience in mining, mineral processing, heavy machinery or industrial processing plants will be an advantage.
-Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, rotating equipment, hydraulics and industrial machinery.
-Ability to work at mining and processing sites in Kwekwe, Gweru or Chiredzi.
