Marketing Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIPBLITIES
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for utility scale, commercial, Industrial and residential power solution projects including operating the company website, social media campaigns and search engine optimisation (SEO) to boost visibility and lead generation.
• Develop and maintain a customer database.
• Carry out market analysis.
• Assist with product development and pricing strategies.
• Implement strategies to expand the company's market reach.
• Track and record project results and adjust marketing measures as needed.
• Collect and maintain client testimonials in both written and visual form.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with both potential and existing clients.

Qualifications and Experience

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field.
• Preferably 2+ years experience in the renewable energy or engineering space or a solid understanding of commercial, industrial and residential energy markets in Zimbabwe.
• Proven track record of successful sales experience, ideally in Business-to-Business sales(B2B).
• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Ability to generate leads, manage client relationships and close deals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and experience with other marketing software including
Dynamics, Excel, CRM.
• Strong experience in digital and social media marketing, copywriting and graphic design.
• Basic understanding of project management process to ensure projects are delivered as planned.
• Team player who collaborates with ease and contagious creative energy.
• Strategic vision and strong business acumen.
• Results driven.
