MARKETING MANAGER
Reporting to: Group Marketing Executive

Chicken Inn, a brand under Simbisa Brands Limited, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Marketing Manager.

Role Purpose;
The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive top-of-mind awareness, brand preference, customer frequency, average spend per visit, and overall consumption for Chicken Inn.

The role provides strategic marketing leadership across the business, ensuring that brand, promotional, digital, and customer initiatives translate into measurable commercial growth, strong in-store execution, and a consistently differentiated customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Lead the formulation and execution of integrated marketing strategies across advertising, promotions, public relations, and digital platforms to drive brand growth and revenue performance.
Provide strategic leadership on the marketing mix, advising senior management on pricing strategy, promotion effectiveness, product portfolio optimisation, and local store marketing initiatives.

2. Consumer Insight & Market Intelligence
-Design and oversee market research and consumer immersion programmes to identify new product and service opportunities and understand evolving customer behaviours.
-Continuously monitor the external business environment, including competitor activity, category dynamics, and consumer trends, proactively advising leadership on risks, opportunities, and future market implications.

3. Campaign & Execution Management
-Lead end-to-end marketing execution, coordinating creative development from strategic briefing through to artwork, scriptwriting, and production.
-Oversee the development and execution of TV, radio, print, outdoor, and digital media assets, including media planning, buying, and placement.

4. Digital, Brand & Customer Experience
-Oversee digital marketing and customer engagement initiatives, including social media strategy, influencer partnerships, content execution, and online brand presence.
-Lead customer feedback and reputation management to strengthen customer trust and brand affinity.
-Drive continuous improvement in customer experience across all touchpoints.

5. People & Performance Management
-Provide leadership to the marketing team and set clear performance objectives.
-Drive accountability through regular performance reviews, coaching, and capability development to build a high-performing marketing function.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years’ proven working experience in Marketing or a related field.
-Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
-Proficiency in digital marketing and social media management.
