Core purpose of the role
To Manage, control, monitor, align all fleet, maintenance, technical, and procurement related activities to maintain and exceed all contractual and SLA obligations.
Key deliverables and outputs
Budgets and Forecasting
Assist with providing input into the region financial budget process.
Strategic / Financial
Maintain above 90% CSI rating by taking complete ownership of the identified interventions & actions to improve any business areas
Cost management - maintenance, accident management, fuel management, replacement vehicle, fines management - optimize the vehicle life cycle to achieve/reach economic targets
Oversee the complete workshop management as well as proper visibility to our client - profitability fully operational, provide breakdown and maintenance, emergency services to both external and internal customers.
Reporting
Ensure a correct report regarding the stock and pricing of vehicles to sell
Ensure delivery of accurate monthly technical operations reports.
Operational Performance
Fleet management - to manage and maintain the fleet to reach the optimized usage levels, by setting usage parameters (time/distance) and managing the utilization thereof.
Fleet reporting - identify anomalies, exceptions, and trends to communicate with stakeholders to ensure appropriate measures are taken
Manage, monitor and direct the operational running of the Fleet management role, ensuring all resources, processes, data and systems are adjusted, aligned and in place to meet the set deadlines (weekly and/or monthly) as well as targets.
Attend to all Customer complaints directly related to Technical Operations
Ensure timetable is set and adhered to for planned inspections
Obtain discounts from suppliers (labor rates and spare parts)
Properly prepare documentation and invoices (proforma and tax invoices and deal files)
Conduct workshop and dealer visits according to schedule
Ensure that expectations for sales (Used Vehicles) are met by keeping AF/RAC inventory levels below target.
Stakeholders (internal & external customers, suppliers, shareholders, communities)
Interact with external and internal customers to manage the accurate and on-time delivery of the set SLA expectations, influencing these stakeholders accordingly.
Manage and direct our customer service to existing customers by overseeing and guiding the proper needs analysis, solutioning and servicing of these customers.

Academic Qualifications
Essential:
Relevant Technical Qualification
Valid Driver’s License
Valid passport.
Note: The incumbent will be required to travel and work overtime from time to time.
Work Experience
Essential:
3-5 Years of Previous Management experience
5-7 Years of Previous Motor Industry experience.
Previous relationships/experience working with OEMs.
