Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) is hiring a maintenance officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will manage the Maintenance department, will be responsible for performing basic plumbing, electrical, welding and mechanical repairs, general maintenance of CUT hotels, annual budget formulation, required to do shift work, would be required to be on call, supervising junior staff, ensuring established controls and procedures are adhered to and any other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Qualifications and Experience
Person Specification Applicants must have at least five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics and a Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance. Trade-related qualification/apprentice trained or journeyman certified in a relevant field will be an added advantage, and a clean class 4 driver’s license and at least three (3) years working experience in a similar environment.
