Job Vacancy: Lodge Deputy Manager WE'RE HIRING We're seeking a proactive, passionate, and results-driven Deputy Lodge Manager to support our Lodge Manager in overseeing all aspects of our lodge's operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and high staff performance, stepping up to lead in the Manager's absence.
Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Experience: Champion exceptional guest service, anticipate needs, and resolve issues promptly. Operations: Oversee daily lodge functions (front desk, housekeeping, activities, maintenance). Staff Leadership: Motivate, train, schedule, and supervise lodge team members, fostering a positive environment. Manager Support: Deputize for the Lodge Manager, attend meetings, and assist with strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting. Lodge Standards: Ensure impeccable presentation, maintenance, and adherence to safety/operational standards. Financial Acumen: Assist with cost control, stock management, and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements: Experience – 3 years plus. Qualifications – Diploma in Hospitality / Events Management or relevant qualification. Software – MS Office, Semper, Online booking systems such as Booking.com, Knightsbridge, etc. Knowledge Of International Hospitality Standards / Events Marketing and Management. Skills – Timeous / work under pressure / work unsupervised. Ability To – Meet deadlines / Manage business development.
