Duties and Responsibilities
•Evaluate loan applications and creditworthiness of clients. •Conduct thorough assessments of financial documents and personal interviews. •Determine all applicable rations and metrics and set up debt payment plans •Build and maintain long term, trusting and strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction. •Collaborate with the team to achieve lending targets and business objectives. •Determine all applicable rations and metrics and set up debt payment plans •Determine all applicable rations and metrics and set up debt payment plans •Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines •Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes. •Maintain a positive working relationship with internal departments and external contacts
Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Banking and Finance, Business, Economics, or any related field. •Previous working experience as a Loan Officer for 2 years in a Banking or Microfinance institution with strong background in lending. •Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Hands on experience with computers and banking software •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Customer orientation and sales competencies
