Duties and Responsibilities

Main Purpose of the Job:
-The primary purpose of this role is to monitor legal and corporate compliance, providing recommendations for enhanced compliance in various areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Internal Compliance:
-Coordinate and conduct internal investigations into compliance issues.
-Conduct internal reviews and audits to ensure staff adherence to compliance procedures.
-Conduct internal risk assessments, identify, assess, and manage risks.
-Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:
-Ensure the company stays current with regulatory compliance requirements from authorities such as EMA, NSSA, CGU, ZIMRA, etc.
-Maintain a comprehensive database of all compliance issues with up-to-date progress.
-Liaise with other departments to manage regulatory compliance matters.
-Maintain a database of government circulars, policy directives, and advisory notes requiring compliance.

Statutory Compliance:
-Ensure all company activities, products, policies, and documentation comply with national legislation.
-Report to management on risk, compliance, and legislative matters.
-Keep record management systems up to date.
