Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor - Crop Pathology

Duties and Responsibilities

Applicants must be able to:
-Teach courses related to Crop Pathology and supervise student research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
-Contribute to the achievement of the University's mandate through teaching, research, community engagement, innovation, and industrialization.
-Publish in peer-reviewed journals and actively seek and obtain external funding.
-Provide academic leadership to the Department in its endeavor to meet its Education 5.0 mandate. The department reserves the right to allocate courses to the successful candidate.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:
-An MSc in Crop Protection or its equivalent.
-A PhD in Crop Pathology or its equivalent would be an added advantage.
-Tertiary education teaching experience, preferably in a University setup or relevant industrial experience.
-A proven record of publications and the ability to mobilize funds would be additional advantages.
-The applicant's Curriculum Vitae (CV) must contain a detailed list of publications, specifying titles, journal names, volumes, page numbers, dates published, including books, monographs, refereed and non-refereed journals, and chapters in books.
