FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Department of Food Science and Nutrition
Post A: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor (1 post)
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate must be capable of teaching, supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research work, assess students on Work Related Learning and must be able to teach at least three of the following modules at undergraduate level;
Food Chemistry
Food Engineering
Food Fermentation Technology
Bakery technology
Advanced Food Microbiology and Biotechnology
Food Product Development and Marketing
Meat, Poultry and Fish Technology
Cereals and Legume Technolog
Qualifications
Must have a first degree in Food Science and Nutrition, Food Science or related field with at least a 2.1 pass
Must have MSc in Food Science and Nutrition or related field
A PhD in Food Science, Nutrition or related field is an added advantage
Teaching experience in a tertiary institution is an added advantagey
