The candidate will be responsible for supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research work, assessing students on Work Related Learning and teaching the following modules:
· MSc in Crop science or related field · The candidate should preferably possess a BSc in Plant / Crop science (or related field) passed with a 2.1 or better degree class · A PhD or proof of pursuing a PhD in a Crop science related discipline is an added advantage · Evidence of knowledge/experience in plant / crop simulation modelling (taught courses; use of crop / crop systems modelling softwares; publications on crop modelling; modelling course certificates; research using modelling approaches; etc) · Evidence of research article (s) (in relevant field) published in peer reviewed journal is an added advantage · Teaching experience for at least one year, at tertiary level is an added advantage
