The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research work, assess students on Work-Related Learning, and teaching the following modules:
· MSc in Molecular Genetics/ Plant biotechnology or related field
BSc Biotechnology/Crop Science/Biological science or related field, passed with a 2.1 or better degree class A PhD or proof of pursuing a PhD in Molecular Genetics / Plant biotechnology is an added advantage Evidence of research article (s) (in relevant field) published in peer reviewed journal is an added advantage At least one year teaching experience at tertiary level is an added advantage
· Bioinformatics
