The ideal candidate should have at least a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship, or other equivalent and an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship or other equivalent. An earned PHD Degree would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate would be required to teach any three of the following undergraduate courses:- Innovation and Techno-preneurship, Principles of Management, and Small Business Management, Applied Entrepreneurship, and National Industrialization Strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Please note that the duties and responsibilities of a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor and Professor are grouped in three categories which are:
-Teaching-the incumbent is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or School guidelines and standards. -Community and University Services-the incumbent should participate in all Department, School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops, conference and seminars, among others. -Research-the incumbent is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University through publications. -Innovation- the incumbent is expected to come up with innovative ideas through research. -Industrialisation- the incumbent should be able to come up with innovations that can be commercialised and enhance industrialisation.
