Bindura University of Sciences and Technology is hiring a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Psychology of Education (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate shall be expected to -Teach Psychology of Education courses up to Post Graduate level; -Contribute to the mandate of the University through teaching, research, University/community service, innovation and industrialisation; -Advise students, collaborate with Faculty on research within and across Departments; -Provide service to the Department, University, and community; -Publish in peer-reviewed journals, seek and obtain external funding; -Supervise students’ projects and dissertations.
NB: Female candidates are encouraged to apply. Police clearance is mandatory for successful candidates.
Qualifications and Experience
-Applicants must have a PhD in Educational Psychology or equivalent from a recognized institution; -The applicant should have taught in Tertiary Education Institutions for a minimum of two (2) years; -A proven track record of research publications in refereed journals would be an added advantage; -Applicants studying towards a PhD in Educational Psychology will also be considered for a Temporary Full-Time post.
