The University seeks to engage a Lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Resources Management and Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Crop Production.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Horticulturist, you will be -Participate in University income-generating projects -Participate in the invigilation of examinations -Supervise post-graduate and undergraduate student research projects -Participate in outreach activities in the crop production sector -Attract and manage research grants -Participate in university services -Innovate and facilitate service delivery -Applicants must be able to teach Horticulture related modules at undergraduate level and any other modules which may be assigned by the Department
Qualifications and Experience
-Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language -A Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Horticulture or related fields -Applicants must be holders of at least a Master’s Degree in Horticulture -A PhD in Horticulture or related fields is an added advantage -At least one peer reviewed publication -At least one-year teaching experience at tertiary level
