The University seeks to engage a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, Department of Metallurgical Engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Full Professor: Metallurgical Engineering, you will be -Contribute significantly to the teaching, research, and curriculum development, innovation and industrialization activities -Participate in community outreach activities -Participate in University income generating projects -Supervise students’ research projects -Participate in the invigilation of examinations
Qualifications and Experience
-Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English Language -Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering -A Master’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering -A relevant PhD qualification in Metallurgical Engineering -At least one-year teaching experience at tertiary level -The successful candidate will be expected to actively engage in research and innovation activities in his/her area of specialization leading to tangible products and services
