The World Food Programme (WFP), the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, is seeking a Knowledge Management Officer. The mission is to help the world achieve Zero Hunger, ensuring that no child goes to bed hungry, and that vulnerable populations, particularly women and children, have access to the nutritious food they need.
-Social and humanitarian assistance for food- and nutrition-insecure populations.
-Support to urban and rural communities for resilient livelihoods and sustainable management of natural resources.
-Collaboration with national actors for well-informed, effective, and equitable actions for achieving food and nutrition security.
-Services to humanitarian and development actors for efficient program implementation.
-15 years of experience in a relevant field or at least 5 years of progressive postgraduate professional experience in Knowledge Management or a related field with a background and interest in international humanitarian development.
-Practical understanding of Knowledge Management, Change Management, Project Management, and Learning concepts, principles, and methodologies.
-Proficient in contemporary Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and managing online knowledge platforms.
-Experience in website and publication design.
-Ability to create targeted research and knowledge products.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate insights to a range of stakeholders within and outside WFP.
