Junior Trader (Treasury)

Duties and Responsibilities

Foreign Exchange Trading:
-Develop and distribute daily FX rates to stakeholders.
-Management of open-currency positions.
-Provision of client pricing and execution of related transactions.

Money Market and Interbank Trading:
-Source deposits and invest in treasury related instruments.
-Provide market pricing within approved thresholds.
-Apply counterparty limits in execution of trades.

Cash Flow Management:
-Monitor and manage the bank’s daily liquidity needs in both local and foreign currency markets.

Market Analysis & Research:
-Continuously analyze global market trends.
-Research interest rates, investment and FX rates to assess potential impacts on the bank.

Relationship Management:
-Maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:
-Ensure adherence to treasury-related ratios such as liquidity and loan-to-deposit ratios and any other metrics as directed by ALCO, Management and the Board.

Reporting:
-Prepare accurate and timely treasury-related reports, including liquidity updates and management summaries.

Any other duties and responsibilities as provided for in the positions Job Description and or assigned by the Senior Dealers or Head of Treasury.
