job Description

A reputable mining company is looking for a Junior Mining Engineer to support technical operations on-site. The ideal candidate will have a solid academic background and a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience in active mining environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Assist in developing short- and long-term mine plans.
-Monitor drilling, blasting, and hauling operations to ensure compliance with engineering designs.
-Analyze geological data and prepare mining reports.
-Ensure safety regulations are adhered to in all mining operations.
-Collaborate with senior engineers and geologists to optimize mine productivity and efficiency.
-Contribute to environmental and safety planning on site.

Qualifications and Experience

-A Degree in Mining Engineering.
-At least 2 years’ experience working on active mining sites.
-Strong technical and planning skills.
