Junior Buyer

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Negotiations: Support the Senior Buyer in negotiating pricing, discounts, and promotional deals with suppliers. Ensure all agreements are competitive and beneficial for driving profitability.

• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels daily to ensure key products are always available. Liaise with suppliers, distribution centres, and stores to manage inventory for promotions and new product lines.

• Promotion Planning: Assist in executing monthly and annual promotions by selecting appropriate product lines and ensuring accurate pricing. Conduct evaluations to measure campaign success and identify improvement areas.

• Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity to ensure Boxer offers the best possible product range and pricing. Contribute to product mix decisions based on customer needs and sales data.
