Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will have the following key responsibilities: • Provide technical support to employees and clients via phone, email and in person. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely solutions. • Install, configure and maintain IT systems and software. • Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and antivirus software. • Assist with IT projects and upgrades as needed. • Document IT procedures and maintain accurate records of IT assets. • Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults- replace parts as required • Help set up systems or resolve issues/troubleshoot system and network problems
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field • Strong knowledge of Windows and Windows Server operating systems • Experience with network troubleshooting and administration
