IT Graduate Trainee Programme – Green Fuel

Programme Overview
This is a 2-year structured graduate trainee programme designed to level up fresh IT grads into competent IT pros. You’ll rotate across teams, work on real projects, and complete hands-on milestones in real production environments.
What You’ll Learn
-Software Development: Requirements analysis, system design, coding standards, testing, documentation & release practices.
-Databases & Integration: SQL basics, data quality, reporting, APIs & integration fundamentals.
-Systems Support: User support, endpoint setup, incident & problem management, service desk.
-Infrastructure Basics: Windows/Linux admin basics, virtualisation, backups, networking & security foundations.
-Professional Skills: Comms, teamwork, stakeholder engagement & continuous learning.
-Support the software development lifecycle under senior guidance.
-Develop, test, and maintain internal apps, scripts & reports.
-Troubleshoot daily IT issues (hardware, software, access).
-Maintain system docs, knowledge articles & SOPs.
-Take part in change, release & deployment activities.
-Work with business users to understand needs and deliver feedback.
-Follow Greenfuel’s safety, quality & info-security standards.
-Recent Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (completed within last 2 years).
-Basic programming skills (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
-Fundamental database/SQL understanding.
-Strong problem-solving, attention to detail & learning drive.
-Good communication and team player vibes.
-Willingness to be flexible (work across Greenfuel sites + on-call support).
Added Advantages
-Familiarity with Git/source control, REST APIs & basic DevOps.
-Basic Linux admin knowledge.
-Knowledge of ITIL/service desk tools.
-Valid driver’s licence.
