Internal Auditor

Duties and Responsibilities

-Conduct audits of ZIMSTAT in alignment with the Internal Audit Plan and following the Institute of Internal Audit Standards of best practice.
-Review the adequacy of internal controls and propose improvements to ensure the effectiveness of the Agency's systems.
-Manage corporate governance practices such as policies, procedures, and guidelines as designated by management.
-Contribute to the Audit Work Plan, ensuring coverage of all auditable activities, especially in provincial offices.
-Compile final audit reports, including management responses and recommendations, for review by the Internal Audit Manager.
-Execute the approved Audit Work Plan by visiting provincial offices and conducting planned audit assignments to ensure a risk-free environment and compliance.
