Celeste Medical Hub is looking for a compassionate and experienced Intensive Care Nurse to join our growing ICU team. We are seeking a nurse with strong critical care skills and hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: • Orthopaedics • General Surgery • Obstetrics & Gynaecology • Urology • Paediatric Surgery
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality ICU nursing care to critically ill and post-operative patients • Monitor ventilated and unstable patients closely • Administer medications, infusions and critical care treatments safely • Respond quickly to emergencies and patient deterioration • Work closely with doctors and the multidisciplinary team • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control standards
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements • Diploma in General Nursing • Registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe • Post-basic qualification in Critical Care / ICU Nursing • ICU or HDU experience is an added advantage • BLS certification required (ACLS is an advantage) • Strong communication, teamwork and clinical skills
