The following positions have arisen within the City of Bulawayo.

HUMAN CAPITAL DEPARTMENT

Duties and Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
Performs and facilitates occupational medical examination of employees.
Consults, prescribes and treats employees.
Collects, maintains and safeguards confidentiality of employees health information.
Counsels and educates employees on safety, health and well being.
Orders and dispenses medicines as prescribed in terms of the registration and license.
Keeps and maintains industrial clinics assets.
Conducts regular workplace safety and health visits to all Council work operations.
Provides emergency care for non-occupational conditions that occur during work hours.
Facilitates for all mandatory/prescribed or investigates occupational medical examination.
Participates in the preparation of the section`s budget, action plan review, campaigns and events.
Supervises staff including First Aiders.

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

At least Diploma in General Nursing,
A qualification in Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management Certificate (OSHEMAC) 1 and 2 or equivalent.
A clean Class 4 Driver`s Licence

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 3years experience as a qualified Nurse.
