Maranatha Christian High School is on the lookout for a dynamic and qualified professional to join our esteemed institution as an ICT/Computer Science Teacher. This position has become available due to our school's expansion, and we are eager to welcome a dedicated individual to our Cambridge and ZIMSEC Centers with boardings in Harare and Kadoma.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Teach the subject up to “A” Level. -Evaluate student performance. -Maintain comprehensive classroom records. -Engage with parents, fellow teachers, and professionals. -Update and enhance the curriculum. -Participate enthusiastically in campus events. -Evaluate and grade students’ work, assignments, and papers. -Supervise exciting projects. -Prepare engaging course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. -Fulfill additional research, supervisory, or organizational duties as required by Maranatha Christian School.
Qualifications and Experience
-Bachelor’s or graduate degree, specializing in the subject or an approved teacher training program from a reputable institution. -Post Graduate Diploma in education or Diploma in Education from a recognized Institution. -Proven experience in teaching Cambridge Syllabus and Exam classes. -Minimum of 3 years of experience in Private Schools. -Christian-based background. -Patience and professionalism when working with students. -Excellent communication skills.
