Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Officer – Industrial Relations. This role plays a crucial part in administering the relationship between management and employees, ensuring effective communication, policy adherence, and providing support and advice on industrial relations matters across various divisions.
-Advise and resolve industrial relations problems within the organization to foster a positive working environment.
-Liaise with relevant Government Ministries on labor relations issues to maintain a conducive industrial relations climate.
-Promote a harmonious working environment, minimizing labor disruptions.
-Organize and facilitate disciplinary hearing meetings.
-Recommend investigations of disciplinary and grievance cases and participate in hearings in an advisory capacity.
-Collaborate with the Ministry of Labor, NEC, Company Lawyers, and Trade Unions on labor matters.
-Provide guidance on Labor Legislation and interpretation of the Code of Conduct, ensuring proper implementation.
-Attend court sessions and hearings at the Ministry of Labor or NEC on behalf of the organization.
-Ensure the Code of Conduct is reviewed in line with amendments in labor laws.
-Coordinate works councils at station levels, addressing workplace challenges before escalation.
-Communicate and coordinate changes to workplace planning, managing resistance to change through counseling and education.
-5 O’ Levels including English, and Maths or Accounts.
-2 A’ Levels or equivalent.
-Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology, Politics and Administration, Industrial Relations, or Social Sciences.
-IPMZ Diploma/Arbitration or Law.
-Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources.
-IPMZ membership.
