Vacancy: Housekeeper Location: Private Residence, Harare We are looking for a smart, exceptionally hygienic, and professional Housekeeper to manage all aspects of our household. The ideal candidate will take great pride in maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming home environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
●Performing all cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all rooms and surfaces to a high standard. ●Managing laundry and ironing with care for different types of fabrics. ●Planning and preparing daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) that are healthy and delicious. ●Keeping the kitchen clean and organized at all times, including managing pantry stock. ●Running household errands as required.
Qualifications and Experience
●Proven experience as a housekeeper or maid in a private residence. ●Excellent cooking skills are essential. You must be able to prepare a variety of local dishes well. ●Knowledge and experience in preparing international cuisine (e.g., Italian, Asian, etc.) is a strong added advantage. ●Impeccable personal hygiene and a deep understanding of home cleanliness standards. ●Must be smart, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. ●Honest, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy. ●Good communication skills in English and/or Shona. ●Must have traceable and contactable references.
