WE ARE HIRING: Head Chef
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to make their mark on a brand new venture. You will have the creative freedom to design and implement your own seasonal menus, source the finest local ingredients, and build your own kitchen team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Menu Innovation: Develop innovative and exceptional menus that reflect the lodge's unique style.
Kitchen Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, mentor, and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, cooperation, and continuous improvement.
Financial Acumen: Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, manage inventory and procurement, and work to achieve financial goals.
Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Guest Interaction: Occasionally interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and accommodate specific dietary requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef.
Skills: Exceptional culinary skills, strong leadership and communication abilities, and a high level of innovation and creativity.
Qualifications: Relevant culinary degree or equivalent professional cookery qualification and relevant health and safety certifications.
