Slice Group, a fast growing fast food concern in the catering industry, is inviting applications from interested persons who recently graduated with a first degree in Tounsm and Hospitality Management and/or equivalent for the posilions of Graduate Trainees to undergo an intensive Graduate Trainee Programme.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities - The duties and responsibilities of Graduate Trainees are to assist towards the following - • Ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction through friendly efficient service as well as product quality that matches standards - Ensuring that budgeted monthly sales targets are achieved - Meeting budgetary monthly margins through high standard stock controls. - Ensuring that the shop achieves set monthly budgeted bottom line profit, both money-wise and al/or above budgeted relum ratios - Effectively developing, managing, and continually apprarsing the performance of junior staff, making sure that results are achieved through their efforts. - Holding strict cleanliness and hygienic practices for the protection of the customer against any form of contamination. - Guarding jealously all equipment, utensils, and machinery constituting assets of the company - Continually appraising the overall performance of the shop against set targets/standards and draw up aclion plans to improve or remedy weakness areas - Monitoring trading hours and making sure that the shop is never left without managerial presence. - Making sure that all stock requirements for the smooth running of the business are available at any given time. - Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
• A relevant degree with a First (1) or Upper Second -Degree class (2.1) • Excellent communication skills • Highly adaptable and emotionally intelligent • Should be 25 years of age and below • Must be computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
