Job Title: Graduate Intern-Emergency Cholera Response
Job Location: Harare
A local faith based Non-Governmental Organization involved in development, advocacy and
humanitarian work seeks to fill the position of a Graduate Intern- Emergency Cholera Response.
The Graduate Intern will be responsible for executing the duties listed below as per their specific
thematic area, but not limited to the responsibilities as stated below:
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist in program design processes (need identification and proposal writing)
2. Assist in program implementation (mobilization of participants, planning and facilitation of
trainings, distribution of program materials)
3. Assist in programming monitoring and evaluation through supporting of assessments and
surveys, data collection and analysis
4. Assist in documentation and reporting
5. Preparation of payment requests
6. Submission of reconciliation’s
7. Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Educational Qualifications:
Graduates with Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health, Water Sanitation and
Hygiene and any other related qualification.
Key competencies and other required:
Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long periods in
difficult terrain, and harsh and demanding conditions.
Good engagement skills with local leaders and beneficiaries
Committed to the humanitarian principle
Positive attitude, good team player, flexible mind, comfortable working in a dynamic
organization.
Strong time-management skills and excellent ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
Demonstrate ability to work proactively, independently, and in a small team.
Well-organized and sound judgment
Competency in office software including excel
